This was my second published title. Like my last project with HIG, I worked on an assortment of systems in the game, taking charge of implementing 9 gameplay levels, including several boss fights, and an assortment of side challenges. This all had a lot of overlap with my coworker Chris Matsumoto, with whom I split core shared enemies and effects work with.

I worked as the core programmer for creatures and props in:

  • The Attack The Galleon flight level
  • The Fardrop Tavern Brawl and side missions
  • The Fardrop Tavern Sexy Pirate boss
  • The Sector Zero ambush
  • The Attack the Research Rig flight mission
  • The Defend Fardrop flight mission
  • The finaly boss fight with Monster Skyheed on the ground
  • The Precursor Tunnel Chase

This included work on AI and effects for:

  • The Galleon
  • The Pirate Lackeys
  • Sexy Pirate
  • The Behemoth
  • Monster Skyheed
  • Precursor Drones
  • Repair Barges
  • Flight Target Shoot Racing side missions
  • Flight Tresure Hunt side mission
  • Many random level props and effects for my levels

I worked closely with Chris Matsumoto in the flight levels. He did work for the AI of all the fighter planes that were featured in my levels, as well as many of the other side missions for the flight hubs.

I also worked on assorted systems in the game, but failed to get a working credits sequence like SAC into the game before it shipped.
